GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: A weather reporter for Channel 13 in Colorado Springs not only swore on live TV, she stormed off the set too.
In what looks like a case of someone in the master control room cuing up the wrong take or the wrong tape, Rachael Plath of KRDO is seen getting flustered during her forecast when something appears to go wrong with her graphics.
"Oh, son of a bitch, why is this happening?," Plath asks before walking off the set. I feel your pain, pretty weather girl. I too like to ask myself that very question at least once a day.

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: Reporter Kent Molgat for CTV news in Canada was conducting an ambush interview on a reluctant lawyer who was trying his best to walk away, when he accidentally walked straight into a light pole. Doh!
And because we all love seeing someone else's pain from all possible shots, do enjoy the multiple angles of Molgat’s intimate introduction to the obviously invisible light pole ...

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: When you gotta go, you gotta go -– and that goes for dogs too.
Watch as a dog named Libby stopped in the middle of an agility competition at The Crufts dog show in England over the weekend, and dropped a deuce!!! Sadly, Libby’s pit stop earned her an immediate disqualification.

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: Reporter Doug Luzader was all set to go on the air to talk about the Super Tuesday election results on Fox 7 in Austin yesterday, but when the lead anchor tried talking to him, Luzader appeared to be asleep. Despite the news anchor calling on him repeatedly, Luzader remained unresponsive with his head down.

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: Check out the ability to concentrate that this Tampa, Florida reporter has. While doing a live news story on TV, a car accident happens right behind her.
Even as loud as it was, she doesn’t even seem to notice. And when she does, she still doesn’t let it get in the way of her reporting …

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: They just don't make wooden bar stools like they used to. Ask college basketball announcer James Bates, whose faulty stool sat him on his backside while doing a segment before Saturday’s Xavier's/University of Dayton game.
In the middle of his live report, the wooden barstool Bates was sitting on collapsed, sending him to the floor …

GREAT MOMENTS IN BROADCASTING: Talking on a cell phone or texting while walking may seem natural and easy, but it could result in serious injury if you don’t look up every now and then. One woman in Canada found out the hard way. And on live television, no less!
Keep an eye on the woman in the background of this reporter’s live shot from outside an office building in Ontario, Canada. She comes into the picture on the right hand side of the screen at about :08, then misses the concrete steps at around :14.
